Mary Help of Christians Praesidium

History

The Mary Help of Christians Praesidium, which is a unit of Tamil women was started in our parish on August 15th, 1976.  The Praesidium celebrated the completion of 2000 weeks on November 22nd, 2015.

Meetings

Weekly meetings are held on every Wednesday at 4:30 pm in the church campus.

Activities

• Pray the Legion’s chain prayer every day.
• Solemnize the birthday of Our Lady on September 8th in parish.
• Pray 53 rosaries in 53 houses between July to September every year.
• Celebrate Legion’s indoor and outdoor functions.
• Go for a pilgrimage once a year..
• Attend 3 days annual retreat every year.
• Visit families and pray for them on every Monday (except Lent).
